Russian for beginners 1

In this course students get acquainted with the Cyrillic alphabet and the basics of Russian language to be able to communicate in the most common situations. The course is meant for absolute beginners.

What are you going to learn


  • Orthography of the nationalities
  • Nouns after numerals
  • Nouns брат, мама – nominative, genitive, dative singular
  • Personal pronouns – nominative and dative
  • Numerals 1–900 – nominative
  • Не with verbs
  • Два (три, четыре) часа, года; пять часов, лет
  • Conjugation of verbs in present tense – жить, знать, говорить, звонить, бить, учить, посмотреть
  • Future tense
  • Expressing of to have

How the course is organized

Full time study  

The course contains 12 seminars (1,5 hours each). It is aimed only for students studying in the Czech language (Czech track students).
