Mobile-First IoT-Ready Cloud Architecture!

In accordance with our own tradition, we held the successful Unicorn College Open conference again this semester. It dealt with the Mobile-First IoT-Ready Cloud Architecture this year. The conference participants learned a lot about this software architecture thanks to leading experts from the Unicorn Company. They showed how to create modern apps in the Mobile-First IoT-Ready Cloud Architecture so that designers can focus mainly on functionality that brings value directly to consumers.
Vladimír Kovář and Marek Šťastný started the conference by introducing this software architecture to the listeners by means of illustrative examples. For instance, they presented the possibility of using the same components across Unicorn apps, such as uuBookKit, uuCourseKit or uuWebKit. They also introduced the Goodymat application. The following break was filled with a performance by a talented Prague Conservatoire student. Afterwards, Michal Zajac took over the stage to present the Business Model of an App. Pavel Valenta subsequently expanded on the topic by focusing on the Designing and Creating an App API. Ondřej Čapek followed with his speech on Designing and Creating the User Interface. Jan Šibil continued with the topic of Implementing and Running an App in uuCloud. The next speaker, Miloš Vodrážka, spoke on uuBusiness Territory as a Virtual Space for Business Information Processes and the speech part of the Unicorn College Open was concluded by Radek Dolejš and his presentation of Integration of uuApp with uuBusiness Territory.
Each year, selected participants get valuable prizes by the end of the Unicorn College Open conference. This year, two visitors received an electric scooter.
